Fighting counterfeiters and listing hijackers? Learn how to convert your 10,000-row Amazon Brand Registry CSV into compliant, serialized 2D DataMatrix labels featuring the mandatory Transparency logo.
You built a successful private label brand on Amazon. Suddenly, a fraudulent seller jumps onto your listing, wins the Buy Box with a lower price, and starts shipping cheap counterfeit knock-offs to your customers. Your reviews tank, and your brand reputation is destroyed.
To stop this, Amazon created the Transparency Program. Amazon generates highly secure, mathematically encrypted codes for your brand. Any unit arriving at an FBA warehouse without this exact serialized code is instantly flagged as fake and destroyed. But there is a catch: Amazon gives you the raw codes in a massive Excel file. You have to figure out how to print them.
Identifies the product type, but the barcode is identical on all 1,000 units. A counterfeiter can simply photocopy your FNSKU and stick it on fake items.
100% unique per unit. If you print 1,000 labels, every single DataMatrix barcode is mathematically distinct. Counterfeiters cannot guess the encryption sequence.
Amazon will reject your entire shipment if your Transparency labels do not follow these exact visual and structural guidelines.
To the untrained eye, a QR Code and a DataMatrix look like similar pixelated squares. Do not use a QR code generator. Amazon FBA automated laser scanners are programmed strictly to decode the GS1 DataMatrix format. A QR code will fail scanning and strand your inventory.
A valid Transparency label must feature the official Amazon Transparency "T" logo directly adjacent to or above the DataMatrix code. Furthermore, the 26-character alphanumeric string (e.g., `AZ:12345678901234567890123456`) must be printed clearly underneath the barcode for manual verification.
You cannot print the same label 1,000 times. You must export the official CSV file provided by the Amazon Brand Registry portal, map the column containing the 26-character strings to a bulk DataMatrix Generator, and spool a PDF containing 1,000 entirely unique labels.
Input your 26-character Amazon CSV string below. Watch our renderer format the layout exactly as required for compliance: "T" Logo + 2D Matrix + Alphanumeric Text.
