A barcode only contains the SKU data (e.g. `SHIRT-RED-L`). It does not contain the price or product name. To make the label useful for the customer, you must use a generator that allows you to map additional CSV columns (Title, Price, Size) as human-readable text surrounding the barcode graphic.
If you are tagging jewelry, cosmetics, or using "dumbbell" tags, space is incredibly limited. Do not use EAN-13 unless the manufacturer mandates it. Use Code 128. It is a high-density format that scales down beautifully while remaining perfectly scannable for POS laser guns.
Avoid downloading ZIP files of individual PNGs to print manually.
